Below is a typical itinerary recreated for a stem cell therapy procedure. Please note that this may change from case to case basis. Before any procedure, medical reports will be examined and patient is counselled about the therapy. Assistance will be provided for VISA procurement, flight and hotel bookings.
Day Zero : Arrival in New Delhi. You will be assigned a dedicated concierge to pick you from airport and drop you to the pre-booked hotel. You are advised to take rest for the day and acclimatize before any procedure.
Day One : OPD Appointment with your doctor. You will be picked from the hotel and taken to your surgeon. You will receive consultation based on your medical and family history. A few medical tests will be performed before the procedure. Based on your reports and diagnosis, you will either be advised allogenic or autologous stem cell transplantation or given a choice between the two. In 1% of the cases, multiple doses of stem cells may be required for infusion. Your concierge will drop you to the hotel for taking rest.
Day Two :Allogenic transplantation - The procedure will be performed by the surgeon and you will be discharged within 4-5 hours on the same day and taken back to the hotel. If multiple doses of stem cell transplantation are required, you may require another infusion after a couple of days.
Allogenic transplantation - The procedure will be performed in 2 phases- extraction of Bone marrow and fat tissues and infusion of the isolated stem cells back into the patient. You will require overnight stay in the hospital after this procedure.
Day three :After autologous transplantation, you will be discharged from the hospital and taken back to the hotel. You can extend stay as much as you want.
LAST DAY : Your concierge will hand you over a ‘fit to fly’ certificate from the hospital and drop you to the airport.
